Why automated beats asking in person

Asking face to face works until you forget — which is most of the time.A campaign asks every single customer.

Step 01

SMS and email — the channels customers actually open

Send review requests by text, email, or both. SMS for the open rate, email for the longer ask. Both are personalised with the customer name, your business, and a one-tap review link.

SMS · Day 098% open rate
Hi Hannah — thanks for visiting Bloom Cafe yesterday. Mind sharing a quick Google review? Takes 30 seconds: 5sr.io/abc
Email · Day 242% open rate
From: Bloom Cafe · Subject: Quick favour?
We loved having you. If you have 30 seconds, a Google review really helps small businesses like ours.
Step 02

Trigger right after the experience

Send the moment a job is marked complete, a CSV is uploaded, or a CRM webhook fires. Asking inside the first 24 hours is when conversion is highest.

Step 03

Auto-resend the ones that didn't respond

A polite nudge two days later. A final SMS on day four. Anyone who already left a review is automatically removed from the sequence — no awkward double-asks.

The toolkit

Everything you need to ask at the right moment.

Plans from $35/mo. SMS and email allowances scale with your plan.

Email campaigns

Branded review request emails with customisable templates, subject lines, and sender names. Looks like personal outreach, not a marketing blast.

SMS campaigns

Text message review requests with the open rates email can't match. TCPA and CASL compliant, with opt-out handled automatically.

Drip sequences

Multi-step campaigns with automated follow-ups. Set delays of hours or days between touchpoints — the system handles the rest.

Contact management

Import contacts via CSV, add manually, or filter by location. Track who reviewed and who didn't — and never ask the same person twice.

Campaign analytics

Track sent, delivered, opened, and converted. See which messages perform best and which timings convert highest.

Compliance built in

A built-in checker flags TCPA, CASL, and FTC issues before you send. Mandatory opt-out and disclosure are added automatically.

Six ways to start a campaign

Whatever your workflow already looks like, this fits inside it.

Job marked completeField service crews trigger the request the moment they close out a ticket.
CSV uploadedDrop a list of recent customers and the campaign runs the same hour.
CRM webhookConnect HubSpot, Jobber, ServiceTitan, or any tool that can fire a webhook.
Manual triggerSend to a single customer right from your phone after a great interaction.
Recurring batchDaily or weekly digest of new customers — set it once and forget it.
Booking confirmationTrigger a follow-up two hours after the appointment ends.
FAQ

Campaign questions, answered.

How many review requests can I send?

Depends on your plan. Starter includes 50 SMS + 300 emails per month. Pro includes 150 SMS + 1,500 emails. Premium and Business plans include more — see pricing for the full breakdown.

Is SMS messaging compliant with regulations?

Yes. All SMS campaigns include mandatory opt-out links and follow TCPA and CASL guidelines. The compliance checker flags issues before sending so nothing risky goes out.

Can I customise the email and SMS templates?

Completely. Write your own message, use variables like customer name and business name, or start from a pre-built template and edit from there.

What's a drip campaign?

A drip sends multiple messages over time — for example, an email on day 1, a reminder on day 3, and a final SMS on day 7. Customers who already reviewed are automatically excluded from later steps.

Can I import my customer list?

Yes. Upload a CSV and map the columns to first name, last name, email, phone, and location. Or push contacts in via webhook from your CRM.

Will customers know it's automated?

No. Messages come from your business name and read like personal outreach. There's no 5S Reviews branding inside the message itself.

Set it up once. Watch the reviews come in.
